Until lately I considered myself a poor excuse of a logo designer.
Yet at times one has to evolve despite of visual preferences.
Yesterday I got a brief for an upcoming event 'Music for Maggie's'. Maggie's is a cancer support charity. My 'mental labour' was to incorporate music into the logo, and then incorporate WGPSN on top of it all if possible.
In the meantime while awaiting client's response I decided to exchange 10minutes of my lifetime for possible 5 pageviews, so here it goes!

product photography for Glencraft
Yesterday I was producing photographs for Glencraft showrooms.
It's been some time since I last had to use camera for pictures rather than video, good for a change. Glencraft is a manufacture company specializing in production of high-quality mattresses and accesories. I also managed to catch a glimpse of a Riverdale stand they set up.
I love how my work brings variety to it on one hand but on the other can't wait till I get to making video again.

How to increase the dynamic range/awesomness in your dslr movie
What a superb tutorial I came across today!
It's pretty old but should make lives of (especially beginning) film-makers so much easier!

Happy graduating, all in place
It's been a while!
As of June, I am currently a graduate which basically means I get to join the jolly crowd of professionally unemployed people!Thumbs up to that.
Now, really - I turned out better than expected. I picked up the degree with 2.1 on it (ex aequo first place in the group). I was pretty suprised as I wasn't even there to fix my exhibition right, so all I had was the exhibits themselves. Not only it went well, but I also managed to cash out a 'pretty remunerative' cash cheque for the purchase prize, and then not longer than 2 weeks after graduating I landed a job in Woodgroup PSN a leading oil industry company in Aberdeen.
I have been investing my payslips in memory cards and camera gear since as long as I can remmeber and all I was missing was a desktop capable of producing video (and keeping the user sane, while at it), which also came true recently (much obliged for the cash prize, RGU).
So currently for the first time in my life I'm in the position where I could say I am ready to go. I am staying with Woodgroup for the next 2 months, and after that - well life, bring it on. For once I am ready.
